stay on the path

Have you ever seen one of these signs? Did you think maybe it didn't apply to you?

Well, perhaps you ought to think again.

Because I'll tell you, even the road less-traveled was still a road.

Life is hard. It always will be. There will be hills and valleys, logs to climb over, rivers to ford. But if you stay on the path, your eyes fixed on your destination, you won't miss the road signs. You won't spend hours or days (or years!) lost in the wilderness.

Whatever path you're on, whatever goal you seek--if it's worth reaching, stay focused. The path might be long and strewn with obstacles, but the destination will be worth it.

What path are you on?

My path is leading to me to the shower. Ha!

I'm good - I stay on the path!
Looks like spring around here, Ali.

I'm on the path to my happiness, seeing just far enough ahead to know I need to keep walking. Love the springy happiness!

Wonderful and inspiring words to start off a Monday. Thank you.

My path is one that winds, bends and curves. Things seem to love popping out and surprising, kicking or tackling me when I reach some places. But I get up, dust myself off and keep going on the path before me. Talk about an adventure :-)

Sometimes I feel like you can read my mind. I was just thinking about how I need to focus this week. Thanks! :)

I love this post Ali! Staying on track can sometimes be a challenge for me. Especially when it comes to not eating chocolate. Mmmm. ;)

I've been trying to figure out which path I'm on and which path I should be on for the past couple of years. Hmmm.... Hopefully I'll get on the right path soon.

It's hard to see that when you're climbing up a hill, because you can't see the other side or the end.

I am a terrible, terrible sign ignore-er. I think I've broken an ankle or two wandering on strange roads I never should have been on. Sometimes it takes me a while to find the way back. Lucky for me, there's always a way back.

Meredith ~ Yep!

LOL Emily!

Alex ~ Yep, looks like spring just as the world around me has realized it forgot to give us winter during the actual wintertime, so now it's trying to throw everything its got at us. :P

Patti ~ That's true, but all the more reason then to stay focused so you don't wander too far off course!

Thanks for visiting Suze!

Good for you Tasha!

Angela ~ Life is surely an adventure! Too true!

Krispy ~ I'm part telepathic unicorn--didn't you know?

LOL Carolyn!

Thanks for visiting Shelly!

Thank you Jayrod--on both accounts!

Jenny. Two words: Road map. ;)

Aw, thank you Christa! I'd love to meet you too!

((hugs)) Laura! Yep, there's always a way back!

That's a good question.

I think I'm on the past of "stick to your guns" and believe in myself. Know myself, know the story I'm trying to tell.

I love your thought-provoking posts.
