a-z become

To become something is to make a choice.

At first my book was called THE DEVIL'S DAUGHTER--because Desi is.

But that's not what Desi chose. Not who she wants to be.

She could embrace the heritage her father bestowed on her, and Become a demon, like him; or she could Become something of her own making. Something she chooses for herself.

If you could choose, what would you become?

That's a hard question. If I could, I'd become a wizard like Hermoine and Harry. Then I could magically do all my work today at work and spend the day writing.

I hope you'll stop by my blog today. I'm celebrating Leah Bobet's debut of ABOVE.

I have your book on hold at the library. I'm looking forward to reading it. I want to become the best version of me. The version I see in my mind, not the one in the mirror.

I would become a good enough writer that it could be my full time job.

I would love to become a published author whose books touch the lives of those who read them.

Hi Ali - I am a former lurker of your blog - I so remember when Become was The Devil's Daughter :-D Seems so long ago!
If I could choose....well...since I am probably going down this path anyway...I would like my path to become a librarian to be easy. I would like to get into library school and enjoy my classes :-D I'm a college student right now :-P Oh! And I'd also like a job lol for after school that would be great!

Besides a Ninja?
I'd become someone who could impact thousands and thousands of people in a positive way.

I love the title you chose. And I guess if I could become anything I'd like to be thinner and have an agent. But otherwise, I'm pretty happy with the stuff I do. I love my job, I love my family. It's taken awhile to get here, though, and I would have traded my soul away at one point for other things.

That's a hard question. Magic is always good to have, then I'll be able to magic myself more time to write.

I'd still choose to become a writer, unless I could find a way to live in my fantasy worlds. Then that would be very cool.

What I'd like to become is a long, long, long list. If I become even one of them...well, I don't even know how to finish that sentence.

Good question - hard too! I think I'd become kinder, more patient and braver! :)

So I'm going to just be ornery and go with saying every day is a day of becoming. Becoming a better parent my Chipmunk can depend on and learn from; becoming a full time author one day soon; becoming a better friend to loved ones.

Just wondering, is this giveaway International or only for people living in the US/Canada?

I just love the premise of your book!

If I could choose to become anything I would be 20 pounds lighter and already published:)

I would become the greatest me! Every day I feel like I'm closer and closer to being that man, but there's something missing.
