The Writer's Dojo is an online training studio for writers at all levels of experience.
Visit NinjasWrite.com to join the team, learn, train and have fun with other writing ninjas--just like you!
What is the dojo and all this ninja stuff about?
The dojo got its start from a simple need--to give me some support and accountability to reach my writing goals. I loved the camaraderie I felt during NaNo and wanted to recreate something like that, only every month, all the time. But because we're not always drafting, like in NaNo WriMo, we've got three training rooms you can join--WriMo ninjas (writing drafts), ReMo ninjas (revising), and QuMo ninjas (querying/submitting).
You can read more about the dojo here and here.
I'm here. What do I do now?
The first step is to determine what your belt rank and get yourself a badge. Go here for detailed rank information and girl badges, or go here for detailed rank information and boy badges.
How do I join the dojo?
Just grab a badge, put it on your sidebar, and add your blog to the linkylist above. That's all there is to it! You are welcome to Tweet with us, or join in on one of our chats whenever you'd like!
Why should I join the dojo?
Being an active member of the dojo can be a legitimate source of support and encouragement for you--and education. How much you get from the dojo depends on how much you participate.
You can find a lot of support on Twitter, using these hashtags: #ninjachat, #ninowrimo, #ninoremo, #ninoqumo.
You can participate in #ninjachat. Every Thursday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. MST, on ali cross' blog.
